Doctoral Researchers in their First Years (fluent on speaking, fairly comfortable in writing English)
Number of Participants
The course covers essentially the following four areas: scientific writing, accuracy, brevity and clarity, (basic and advanced); the structure and content of a publication; the process of publication; and finally organisation and motivation. The students are asked to work on and redraft pieces of their own writing, mainly the abstract and introduction. Time will be allocated specifically to exchange experience in writing and publishing.
Note for participants: Participation ist required on both parts of this altogether four day workshop!
2 Credit Points can be obtained by attending this course. Please contact your faculty for the recognition of performance for the doctoral degree.
