Researchers preparing humanities articles for publication in English.
Number of Participants
Do you have an article you’d like to submit to an English-language journal? Or maybe you’ve had an article returned with the direction to apply the journal’s style? In this class participants will learn what it means to adhere to a specific style guide (e.g., APA or The Chicago Manual of Style) and what to look for when submitting your article for publication. Participants will learn how to employ different citation methods (endnotes and in-text) and format reference lists. We will also cover issues of ‘house’ style, such as differences between UK and US English, as well as things you may not know, such as the difference between -, –, and —!
1 Credit Points can be obtained by attending this course. Please contact your faculty for the recognition of performance for the doctoral degree.
