Members of the Graduate Academy Leipzig who would like to organise their own scientific event can request logistical and financial support.
Logistical and Financial Support
We encourage doctoral researchers and postdocs to take the initiative to organise their own scientific workshops or symposia and provide support for those who do. And we are happy to advise you on organisational matters and support you logistically and financially through a subsidy for guest lectures wherever possible. Just get in contact with us!
Applications for financial support should include the following:
- Description of your plans
- Postdocs: explain the thematic focus of the workshop or symposium in relation to your research interest
- List of the planned speakers and their topics
- Budget and timetable
- Membership number of the applicant
You may reserve the seminar rooms at Villa Tillmanns for your workshop or symposium free of charge. Please note that our seminar rooms are in high demand and that it is best to arrange the date and time with us as early as possible.
