Postdocs, juniorprofessors, group leaders, professors and doctoral researchers in the final phase of their thesis.
You should have developed basic ideas and research questions for your proposal.
Number of Participants
The workshop will interactively work out important elements for writing a successful DFG proposal. The following content will be covered:
- DFG funding opportunities,
- structure of a DFG research proposal,
- important aspects of the proposal in detail,
- necessary documents,
- criteria of the reviewers.
During the interactive workshop, a DFG research grant proposal will be discussed point by point, accompanied by practical exercises with special focus on objectives, work programme and finances.
This is an event of the Department 1: Research and Transfer in collaboration with the Research Academy Leipzig.
Notes for participants: With registration, please send an email to ral.kompetenzschule(at)uni-leipzig.de saying which kind of DFG proposal(s) you are preparing, in which career stage you are and what your special questions are.
As the workshop mainly addresses (future) staff of Leipzig University, external participants will be waitlisted and informed one week before the workshop whether their participation is possible.
